Robinhood Chain, explained for traders and builders

Robinhood Chain went live on 1 July 2026. It is an Arbitrum Nitro rollup with 100-millisecond blocks, gas paid in ETH, and a permissionless deployment model. This site records what is actually on it, what each tool actually costs, and which claims we could not verify.

This box is reserved for the HoodTape launch and swap feed, streamed from our own indexer against the public RPC. Until the indexer is public, the box stays empty rather than showing a fake ticker. Set the data-embed attribute to an embed URL to drop an iframe in here.

One message a night: every token launched on pools.trade in the last 24 hours, which ones cleared their launch, which ones still had a trade twelve hours later, and the wallets that showed up early more than once. No pumps, no calls, no referral spam in the body.

What Robinhood Chain is, in one page

Robinhood Chain is a Layer 2 built on the Arbitrum stack. Arbitrum's own announcement places it in the Arbitrum Expansion Program, settling to Ethereum. Chainstack records the architecture as an Arbitrum Nitro rollup with a Robinhood-operated sequencer and BoLD dispute resolution across a permissioned validator set. There is no native chain token. Gas is ETH.

Three properties change how you trade and build on it.

The chain's headline product is Robinhood's own Stock Tokens, issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and described by Robinhood as tokenised debt securities that give economic exposure without any legal rights in the underlying share. They are not offered to US persons. Robinhood also runs a lending product, Robinhood Earn, in which users lend USDG through the Morpho protocol from a self-custody wallet, and that product is described as available to eligible US customers. The Stock Tokens page sets out the eligibility rules exactly as published.

The trading side

The retail trading activity on the chain is mostly the launchpad economy. Uniswap Labs shipped pools.trade on 5 August 2026: a fixed 1-billion supply per token, a Uniswap v4 pool with permanently locked and autocompounding liquidity, a 0.25% pool fee, and an optional 0.05% creator cut. There are two formats. Instant Launch is a bonding curve that is live immediately. Crowd Launch is a four-hour bid auction that only becomes tradable if it clears a $10,000 fully diluted valuation, and refunds every order if it does not.

Third-party ecosystem trackers list other launchpads on the chain alongside pools.trade. We have seen the names hood.fun and PONS reported, but only from a single aggregator, so we do not yet cover them as verified. When we can confirm them against a primary source we will add them to the directory pages.

Named day-one ecosystem participants from Robinhood's mainnet release include Uniswap, Pleiades, Morpho, Alchemy, BitGo, and Chainlink. We deliberately do not print a total-value-locked figure here. The aggregators disagree by an order of magnitude — DeFiLlama's own post cited more than $80 million shortly after launch, while CoinGecko's chain page showed roughly $619 million when we checked — which almost certainly reflects different snapshot dates and different methods. Pull that number live, with a timestamp, and do not trust a directory page that quotes one as current. Ours included.

How this site decides what to publish

Three rules, applied to every page.

  1. A claim carries its source or it does not appear. Every page lists its sources in the page markup and carries the date it was last checked. Where a source is a vendor's own marketing rather than an independent check, we say so.
  2. "Not verified" is a publishable answer. Each comparison page ends with a list of the things we could not confirm. A missing fee is written as "not stated publicly", never as a guess.
  3. Ranking is not for sale. Referral links, where they exist, live in one public map on this site with an empty default. A referral relationship never moves a tool up a table, and any tool we cannot verify simply is not listed.

We index the chain directly over the public RPC and store the results ourselves, which is why the tape can show launch and survival statistics that a chart site does not surface. The about page explains who runs this and how the data pipeline works.
